1. To make candles, you need wax, wicks, jars or other small containers, furnaces, glue guns and craft sticks.
2. Place the jars on a flat surface so they can stay there for a few hours, because once the wax is poured in, you don't want to move the jars. First, thermally glue the bottom of the wick to the bottom of the jar.
3. Melt the wax-only 2 pounds or less at a time-melt it on the stove with low heat. Do not melt in the microwave. If the wax is large, cut into 2 inch squares before melting.
4. Once the wax is completely melted, carefully pour it into the container. Use a craft rod to support the wick in the middle so that the wick is not completely buried by the wax.
5. Let the wax dry for a few hours. Trim the wick protruding from the wax to an inch high.It is best to use high-quality soy wax or beeswax. Paraffin wax is petroleum-based and does not burn cleanly. Low-quality wax may set unevenly and look rough.
